DHM Automotive was founded in 1983 by Dave Berriman, a devoted car enthusiast and longtime resident of Medford. What began as a small, independent Subaru repair shop soon became a trusted fixture in the Rogue Valley. Customers quickly learned they could rely on Dave’s honest approach, deep technical knowledge, and a commitment to quality that felt more like caring for a friend’s car than running a business. 

Over the years, DHM built a reputation for top-tier service—so much so that even when clients moved away, they’d drive back just to have Dave or his team work on their Subarus. 

Following Dave’s passing, his son Mike Berriman took the reins and continued the legacy. Today, DHM Automotive remains family-owned and locally operated, driven by the same principles of integrity, transparency, and technical excellence.
